The Venaria Reale

The Venaria Reale site is a unique environmental-architectural example with an extraordinary charm. It is an immense space, varied and suggestive, where visitors cannot but become enchanted by the magical atmosphere enclosed within a context of multiple cultural and recreational attractions: entertainment, events, concerts, exceptional exhibitions, a range of opportunities for relaxation and direct and intimate contact with nature, relaxation, sporting entertainment and foods and wine.

Venaria Reale is the Borgo antico cittadino (or old populated borough town), a jewel case of events and historical vicissitudes. It comprises the imposing baroque Reggia (or palace), which, with its vast Gardens , represents one of the most significant examples of the magnificence of the art and architecture of the 17 th and 18 th centuries. Then there is the La Mandria Park , one of the most important environmental protection areas in Europe where numerous species of wild and domestic animals live freely and which houses a noteworthy historical-architectural patrimony.

The renewed splendour and breathtaking quality of the architecture of the restored palace, the immensity and beauty of the Gardens and the natural spaces of the Park, allow visitors to spend their time pleasantly immersed in new sensations and different experiences, according to a modern conception - open to all alike - of “taste”, “recreation” and the “art of living”.

The Reggia di Venaria Reale royal palace and the residence at La Mandria have been declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.
