Environmental education projects do not just involve Park Authority staff but also various other bodies which the Park collaborates with to create a quality regional range of activities: The Regional Natural Science Museum, Hydro-geological Protection Research Institute–CNR Turin, the Accorsi Foundation, the Department of Earth Sciences at Turin University, Piedmont Mycology Association, Turin Beekeepers Consortium, Turin Archaeological Association, Park Municipality Councils and Associations.
In 2005, an interesting partnership between La Mandria and important protected areas - Gran Paradiso, Orsiera Rocciavrè, Collina Torinese, Monte S.Giorgio – was set up to launch common projects, develop strategies to improve the range and visibility of environmental education activities and services, and develop the partnership as a recognised, skilled and knowledgeable interlocutor for institutions and local organisations.
